David Blanchard, PT
David Blanchard has 12 years of experience with specialties including care for industrial injuries, motor vehicle injuries, and a variety of spinal conditions. In that time he has also worked extensively with sport-related trauma and overuse injuries. In order to effectively return a patient to their desired level of activity, David uses evidence-based treatments and techniques. He employs a balanced approach, utilizing appropriate manual therapies, accurate dosage of movement and therapeutic exercises, and other treatment modalities. Most importantly, however, he listens carefully to each person's needs. David's greatest desire is to ensure that each patient has a comprehensive one on one experience with their therapist, in order to maximize the quality of their care.
David's educational history includes graduating from a top 10 rated physical therapy school, and post graduate courses including the NAIOMT certification system, the ASTYM system for accelerated soft tissue healing, and training in rehabilitation for vestibular disorders. David has also performed Physical Capacity Exams for the past 7 years. He is fluent in Spanish, is active in his community, and most recently has been involved as the assistant coach of a Middle School-division Science Olympiad team, which won 1st place in Washington for several years. He has also been active with BSA, singing in choirs, writing and playing music, and participating in onstage theatrical performances. He is also the proud father of three boys and three girls, and has been married for 20 years.
